- Identify the specific characteristics of Down's syndrome
- Understand the developmental and educational needs of individuals with Down's syndrome
- Recognise the social and emotional challenges faced by individuals with Down's syndrome and their families
- Develop effective communication and interaction strategies for working with individuals with Down's syndrome
- Foster inclusive practices that promote the full participation and acceptance of individuals with Down's syndrome in all aspects of society

Carers and support staff from education, health and social care. The workshop can be adapted for parent/carer audiences

All our autism and learning disability training is mapped to the Core Capabilities Framework for staff in health, social care, and other sectors.
Delivery
Trainer presentation, video, discussion and post-course resources and activity.
Available as a half/whole day 'face to face' workshop or a 2 hour live online via Zoom

We can also provide half day face to face, or shorter workshops live online via Zoom. Email us for details.
We work with you to determine the learning needs of your team and adapt our interactive workshops accordingly.
Whatever workshop you chose we guarantee that your training will be delivered by an experienced, skilled trainer.
We can help with evaluating the effectiveness of the training and give you a report based on both the experiences of your learners and the trainer.
